I'm not sure if this would be of interest to you or not. When I was a little girl in Englewood, NJ, there was an older boy in the neighborhood named FLEET DOLAN. In looking back, I had always thought he was a big Swede or Norwegian. Since subscribing to genealogy mail lists, I have learned these are both Irish surnames and I have seen both on the Hudson County list. If you think this family may be related I could give you a little more info about it.
