    3. I am trying to track down the date of my dad's marriage to his first wife. I know that it took place as I have seen pictures. A large, formal wedding in Bayonne probably around 1935-1936. (My brother was born April, 1937). Trenton can't find the record, it must be misfiled, so I must track down the church and hope for the best. The bride, Margie Americk, was Polish from Bayonne. (Isley family is Protestant from Jersey City) Was there a Catholic church where most of the parish was of Polish descent? I'm trying to narrow my playing field. Thanks for your help. 3. Karen, That would have probably been Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. See the Bayonne site. www.rootsweb.com/~njhudson/bayonne then go to churches.
