Hi, I am looking for the Catholic marriage of my great grandparents, it was not listed in the State Archives so the woman told me it must be recorded in a Church record. The names are: Martin McNamara and Ellen Kelly in Jersey City 1881 or 1882. Thank you, Cathy

Cathy, I have the same problem. No records of a Richard Patey marrying (Ann) Katerine Dempsey in the late 1800's. Their third child was born in 1901 in Jersey City.
