Mathews church I see in Jersey City is a Lutheran church on 83 Wayne St. phone # 432-9319 as of 95 book. and it is only a block away from Sussex if my memory serves me well ?     3. St. Mathews Lutheran was a German speaking, evangelical church. My great-grandmother was a member. The secretary there was very kind in responding to my request on information of my mother's baptism.
