From a programmers point of view I can see how this error has arisen. Basically what has probably been entered is the month and the year of death. The day not being known. When a search is performed the result is probably formatted as dd/mm/yyyy and thus, as the day is missing it is filled out as 01. Not that I want to excuse them, they should be very careful about presentation of data and check What if's ... when's ... etc etc., but I thought that understanding the problem may help some of you.
