HI St Michael's monastery was located in Union City,N.J. and is no longer in existence. I have no idea where the records may be. Good luck. St. Michael's records are at the Archdiocese of Newark Archives at Seton Hall University. In 1992 we found a dedicated archivist on their staff named something like Ellen McManamon who got all our stuff in 90 minutes and charged only $6.00 per hour! It broke my heart to see the Monastery go to wreck and ruin and then demolition. My great grandfather was the carpenter contractor on the Monastery and we were very proud of this beautiful building.
