In my immediate Vreeland family, I still have two problems. I know I can send away for the answers, such as birth cert. etc. but it takes so long! Is there another way to verify that one Garret Vreeland, born between 1858 and 1861 was the child of Garret Vreeland and Isabella Darling Vreeland? Also, I have a dangling relative I don't know where she belongs. Madeline Vreeland, born June 8, 1866, died 1915. Her tombstone is with my other immediate family in Fairview Cemetery and a Jennie Vreeland is also on the headstone. Love to know who her parents are. Would the census of Bayonne, NJ (where they were all born and lived) in those years help? Could any one out there help?
