    3. I think we discussed this quite a while back and came to the conclusion it is Holy Name Cemetery in Jersey City. My gggrandfather's death cert from 1883 says HCCC and he is definitely in Holy Name. Susan PS His name was John Lee, any connection? ----- Original Message ----- From: Irene Lee <Irene_Lee@ngchak.org> To: <NJHUDSON-D@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, July 31, 2000 2:01 PM Subject: Hudson County Catholic Cemetery > Hi all, > > Just came across this cemetery on 2 death certificates from the 1910s. I am trying to find out the names of the cemeteries in Hudson County, most likely in the East Newark area, And if any of them have online lists of who's buried there. I know some of the cemeteries are online now with that information. I am trying to find out more about the Bartuska family that lived there. I have the 1920 census information that I posted a while back, but I still wish to learn more, especially about Julia Bartuska the wife of William Bartuska. I don't have a date of death or birth and I'm trying to find out who his father was. This was the only way I thought of doing it. You need a date for the NJ state archives and LDS. But thanks for answering anyway. Joan

Hi, I just had to jump in for this one..I was under the mistaken notion that this cemetery did not exist... (family lore)... Much to my surprise when I found out it did.. I called and they were very helpful on the phone.. On my last trip to N.J. to visit my parents my dad drove me to this cemetery.. What a beautiful cemetery it is.. I was really surprised at how well kept up it is.. I couldn't find my great grandmothers grave as there was never a stone put there (something we hope to rectify).. They called the head groundskeeper or manager and he took us to the grave and pointed it out for me.. It is definately worth the call and they could probably give you the undertakers name and if your lucky and they are still in business you can get alot of info from them.. Good Luck, Susan
