I have a fireman from Hudson county in my wife's family (name of Lawrence CASEY, born 1884), and I wanted to know what records the fire departments keep. 1. [NJHUDSON-L] Hannover, Germany
    2. In response to the question of whether people from Hannover, GE were more likely to be Lutheran or Roman Catholic, I believe that Lutheran would be the first choice. From what I've picked up over the years, people from the north of Germany tended to be Lutheran and from the south, Roman Catholic. My grandfather's family came from the Hannover area and they were Lutheran. Hope this helps, Gail Anderson Bates

    3. I am trying to locate any family members of Richard Shawn Warren. He was born in Pt.Jefferson,Long Island in 12/14/54 and died in Kearny,NJ in 12/79. I know he attended Belleville Henderson Cntrl. High School and graduated in 1972-73. His parent's names are Elliott Warren and Anne(Schwartz) Warren. I would like to locate them first. Their last known address was on Devon St. in Kearny,NJ. I have sent out many letters to the cemetaries in Hudson county trying to obtain cemetary records but so far I've located nothing else on Richard as to where he is buried or where his family has moved to. If any one has any suggestions or info. please respond back. Thank you, Jomara _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. Hi Dudley, 1st -there is no corner of Whiton St. & Pacific Ave -they run parallel to each other. 2nd -All Saints Church& school located at the SW corner of Pacific Ave. &Commmunipaw Ave is closed as a church and now is some kind of Outreach Center the last time I was there.(abt.1988 for a funeral) The parish is now combined with a small one (Spanish I think?)further north on Pacific Ave. My GGF(James MEEHAN-1842-1899)was the 1st Fire Commissioner for a Paid Dept.-J.C. His cousin Monsignor Joseph H.MEEHAN(1860-1936)was the pastor there from 1896 til his death. Also I found among my GAunt Ellen MEEHAN (1876-1963)(a daug. of James) a photo of a Wm.M.or M.M or Mr.M.FAGAN???? I have no idea who he is or what relationship there could be?
