Would anyone on the list be searching for Aubins? I found an Earnest Aubin listed on the 1920 Census in Hudson age 34 with wife Maimey , Catherine , Mable , and Leo in Hudson County (ref. 51/7/1/78) who may be a son of Leaunede Aubin , who also went by Edward. Leaunede disappears from Passaic after 1900 or so and vanishes. His wife was Mary and other children were Leo, Amanda, Eunice. The parents were born in Canada; all children were born in NY. If anyone has any records or suggestions , this would be great , as he has proved most elusive. Mahalo , Kevin

Still looking for anything on my great grandfather Harry E. Horton. Only reason I even have his first name is my grandfather's baptismal cert. was located (St. Peter's Church, Jersey City, NJ). My grandfather's mother was Mignonnette (Nettie) Peacock, daughter of Dr. Rufus Wilie Peacock, from TN. They moved to NJ in 1871. Family tradition is that my Great Grandfather Horton was one of 5 brothers that came over from England. Also, that he fought for the south in the Civil War. He is said to have died in a train wreck before my grandfather was born (although others think in left Nettie). He's not buried with Nettie in Arlington Cem., Kearny, NJ. Is this Harry E. Horton familiar to anyone. Any help appreciated. - Ray _______________________________ Ray and Joyce Horton and family "Horton Family" <sunray@erie.net> 2720 Ellsworth Ave. Erie, PA 16508 814-864-2958

Hello List Can anyone tell me why Bayonne N.J. does not have any information on line so those of us that need this information can can find it. We use to be able to write to the Bayonne Library and get information that way. But now they tell us that they are short handed and cannot do the searches any more. My whole family lived in Bayonne N.J. from 1800's to present time. What I need are lots of Obitrarys and I am very willing to pay for this information as long as it is reasonable. Can anyone out there help me. Thank You for any help or advice. Victoria Necklen Strauch

Have lost my file on State addresses for vital records. Looking for address for Death Certificates for the years of: 1886 and 1894. Would really appreciate any help, I can't even find the website today. Thanks Carol
Peter McIntyre, born in Ireland (father maybe named Owen and mother Ellen_________) married to Mary Ann Connery, also born in Ireland. I don't have any idea of the location of their birth. Per their death certificates they were born about 1846 (Peter) and 1852 (Mary). Peter apparently immigrated to US from Ireland in 1860 (naturalization certificate.) Both died in Jersey City. My g-grandfather James MC INTYRE is shown with different birth dates from 1865 (census and birth certificates of this children) to 1870. Also indicated as born in US (New Jersey on census records) and in Ireland on the birth certificates of his children and his death certificate) James MC INTYRE Sept. 1931 in a railroad accident. Other children were Mary MC INTYRE (married HYER) (Oct. 8, 1881-Feb. 2, 1958) and Henry Mc INTYRE who both were born and died in Jersey City. James MC INTYRE married Ellen TUOHEY (1871-1907) She was born in NY or NJ, child of David TUOHEY and Sarah ______. James & Ellen lived in New York City at time of Birth of their oldest child David in 1891, other children were Harold McIntyre 1895 - 1961, Raymond McIntyre 1897 -, James McIntyre 1899 -, Sarah McIntyre Aft 1901 -, Florence McIntyre 1901 - 1986. These children were born in Jersey City and Bayonne in Hudson County.
I was wondering if anyone out there can make a local call to find out if any of the local cemeteries have a Francis Ciszeski buried there? He died in 1990 so they may have their records on computer. I am hoping he was buried in Hudson County. Hello list, I found out today that my husband's great grandmother is buried at Arlington Cemetery. I am hoping someone could help me. I just need the information off of her tombstone. I only get a busy signal when I try calling the cemetery itself. I am looking for what is on the tombstone of JULIA BARTUSKA died (I believe) in 1919. She is probably buried there alone unless there were children that didn't make it. Her husband is buried in Monmouth County. Can someone help me please? Hi List Need help with the above. I have a relative who's DC says he was buried in Speer Cemetery in May 1890. According to what I've found on the net, there is a Speer Burial Ground on Vroom St. in Jersey City. He died in JC, so I assume that's the one. Can anyone tell me if the Burial ground is still there? Does it have an address? Is there an office where I could speak to someone? Any and all help much appreciated. Arnold Roepken
I recently discovered my GGGrandfather may have died 7 Feb. 1899 in Jersey City (not 7 Jun. as I originally thought). If anyone has access to obits for 1899, a lookup for Dr. Rufus Wilie Peacock died 7 Feb. would be appreciated.
