    3. Hi Chris, I would be so appreciative if you would look up a Timothy Devine living in Philadelphia in 1850. His wife would be Anna if he was married at that time. Would love children's names, and possibly date of immigration from Ireland if it's listed. Thanks, great, great granddaughter of Timothy Sally Devine Morgan

    1. [NJHUDSON-L] ARLINGTON - KEARNY Post Cards (NON-GEN)
    2. There are several old (1907) picture postal cards of Arlington sites at auction on ebay. Search under "Arlington NJ". Due to their age they are rather unique. I believe I might bid on several of them but wanted to let those researching this small area know they are available. (even if it does raise the price). Good Hunting, Al Jarvis Tucson, AZ

    2. Marion Markham
    3. I'm still trying to find my gr-grandparents in Hudson Cty. If someone has access to the City Directory for Hoboken, I would appreciate a look-up for any Dammanns. Also, is there any kind of marriage or death index? I know that my gr-grandfather, John Dammann, was naturalized in Jan, 1856 in the court house at No. Bergen, and that he died not long after that. His wife Sophy remarried, but I don't know to whom. I have been told that many of the Germans from Bremen ended up in Hoboken, which is why I'm starting there. Marion Markham in Illinois

    1. [NJHUDSON-L] BUKEIZER/Buckhauser Jersey city directory 1900 look up
    2. Deb Shillo
    3. Looking for this family who resided in Jersey City after 1900. All the information I have is: Rose Schmitt born abt 1875 married someone named BUKEIZER/Buckhauser (I don't know the spelling so haven't searched the census). Rose is a sister to my grandfather. She is said to have had twin boys and another son. Rose was not living with her parents on the 1900 census in NYC where she was born, so I am assuming she was married. Rose's parents were born in Germany. The family was Roman Catholic and were probably buried in one of the catholic cemeteries. Does any one know the funeral homes that serviced these cemeteries? Maybe a search of these records will show up under Rose's maiden name. If anyone has access to the Jersey City Directories I would appreciate a look up for this family. I really need to get the correct spelling before I can do much more searching and think the directory would be the least painful approach. Open to other suggestions. Help much appreciated. Thanks, Deb
