Bill, Would this church have been called "Swedish Reform" sometime in the 1950's. . My husband lived on Ocean Ave. when very young and later on Bartholdi off Ocean few block from Danforth He says his grandmother (Constance Peterson) went to that church and was the only time she spoke Swedish to her old friends. I'm wondering if Bayview Cemetery could be the church she would be buried from? We live in AZ (today 1110%) and because of age 80/82 we are not able to travel so hope someone can help us find his grandmother's resting place. Howdy, Is anyone familiar with the Reformed Church of Greenville, New Jersey? I don't know if it still goes by that name in present day, but it was a separate Reformed church from the Bergen Refomed Church that has the cemetery on Bergen Avenue. I am attempting to find out if there was any cemetery specifically connected with this Greenville church. My 3rd great grandfather Peter Rowe died 9-24-1913 in the area of Jersey City that had been formerly been officially known as Greenville. His death certificate states he was buried in the "REFORM CEMETERY" but I noticed in his obituary that the service was performed by the pastor of this Greenville Reformed chuch, so I was wondering if they had their own cemetery. { I have already checked with the Bergen Reformed Cemetery without any luck} Any help anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated as travel to Jersey City is currently impossible for me. Dear List Members: I am seeking an exact birth date for Constant Hecker born 1861 0r 1862 in New York City--likely Manhattan. Constant Hecker died of consumption in Ridgefield, Connecticut on June 25, 1902 at the home of A.F. Rosco and was buried in Hoboken in the Hecker family plot. Many thanks for any assistance list members can offer with my research.
