If you have a relative that you know was a prisoner at Camp Sumter, Andersonville Prison, Georgia during the Civil War or think so, you can type their name in on this site and check it out. I found my Great Great Great Grand Uncle Alfred Breyer on this site. My relative, Alfred Breyer, was christened in London, England in 1830, married in Camden, New Jersey in 1850, and died in this prison in 1864. He only lived thirty-four years, a short life. The Macon County, Georgia, Chamber of Commerce has the National Park Service Database for Andersonville on its site.
