I've been stuck for 25 years on my ancestors William Forbes or Forbus and Hannah Johnson. They were married in Gloucester Co (Gallaway) in 1828. They later went to Clermont Co Ohio. I believe that they were part of a group of people who went following Rev. John Collins. This couple went later, but I think the Johnsons went with Rev. Collins. I think most of his followers were from the Egg Harbour area. I do not know what denomination they were. If anyone can tell me, that might help my research. I believe that an Anthony Forbes and Elizabeth Johnson who md in Gloucester Co in 1827 were siblings of Wm and Hannah. There were some land deals in Gloucester Co between Forbes and Joseph Johnson, and also a Blackman or Blackson family. I'm desperate for help. Judy K in Indianapolis.
