Dear Gloucester Co. researchers: ... And all this time, I've been assuming that "New York Shipbuilding Co." (where my husband's great-grandfather, William Henry KAYE of Woodbury, Gloucester Co., worked for more than 30 years) was in *New York* .... I just found out it was in Camden County, NJ, of all places! (Solves a really big mystery -- couldn't figure out how in the world Gr-Grandpa KAYE was commuting to work in NYC!) The shipyard closed in 1967. Is there anyone out there who might be able to tell me where this company's employee records might be held? National Archives, maybe???
