Joan, I can't say I know a whole lot about the Roedel's but, I will ask my mom. See, Gustav and his wife were the best friends of my great grandparents Neumann. Mom told me once that one of her aunts was named after Mrs. Roedel, but, I can't remember which. My great grandparents and two of my great uncles were laid out at their funeral home. Of course, for my great uncles, I believe it was a son or grandson that ran it by that time, in the 1970s. I am calling my mom today (she's in NJ, I'm in TX) I will try to remember to ask about them Diane
