This is my first posting to the Gloucester County board but I'm hoping for great results. My grgrgrandfather, SAMUEL JENNINGS, born in NJ in 1807 (probably Gloucester County) has been my brick wall for a long time. Recently I found a SAMUEL JENNINGS listed on the late 1700's and early 1800's tax lists. Although this is too early for my Samuel to be paying taxes I'm wondering if this Samuel is either a father or other relative. I would be interested in corresponding with anyone researching the JENNINGS surname in Gloucester County.
