Eureka! I found the BALLERSTEDT family plot in Cedar Green Cemetery, Clayton!! Unfortunately, the large plot marker (with William Ballerstedt, Sr. on one side - my GGgrandfather - and Rachel BALSTEDT (?!!? - except for this one side of the marker and her headstone, the name is spelled as I now spell it on the 8 other tombstones!) - my GGgrandmother - on the other. There are several lines of text on William's side, but I could not read it and I had nothing to do a rubbing with (I've never done one anyway!). Now that I'm back home in Oregon, I'm wondering how I might go about finding out what the text on the marker says. ANY ideas? Peace.
