The Historical Society of Pennsylvania has the papers of Dr. Asa Matlack Stackhouse who did extensive genealogical research on Matlack and Stackhouse. ______________________________ Reply Separator _________________________________ Subject: [NJGLOUCE-L] MATLACK family of Salem County Author: <[email protected] > at internet Date: 7/10/99 8:49 PM I am trying to find some information on the MATLACK family of Salem county. I have been able to trace my ancestry to Joseph MATLACK (2/28/1779-9/9/1847); according to my records he was married twice, first to Abigail SLAPE (8/24/1782-10/4/1831), then to Mary (maiden name unknown, 4/1/1815-9/29/1847). I have a record of one son Joseph MATLACK (1814-8/16/1888), born to Joseph and Abigail. I have extensive data on the descendants of Joseph MATLACK. My primary goal is to try and find a link between these members of the MATLACK family, and the extensive MATLACK family of Glouchester county. I anyone has any information that may shed light on this, I would love to exchange data. Thanks in advance for any assistance!
