Pat, I saw your recent message about Fairfield. Did that area used to be called Fairton? My ggrandfather, Frank SCUDDER, supposedly came from Fairton and I'm not having much luck with any info or links. This would have been circa 1830s -1890s. He married Augusta Stevens, from a German family, of Phila. They then moved to Back Neck?(I really need help with the location of this old name!),and finally lived in Camden, I believe. They had 3 children: Anna, Lillian Stevens,b.Sept.,1883,d.1964?, and William "Will". If you have any info or resource for these old town locations I would appreciate hearing from you
