    3. Check out Hinshaw's Encyclopedia of American Quaker Genealogy. As soon as you said first into Burlington, I figured you were talking Quakers. On page 163, a history of Burlington Monthly meeting is given, including a line..."Following the first meetings in the sailcloth tent, Burlington Friends met successively in the houses of John Wollston and Thomas Gardner, until they completed a meeting house in 1682." Looks like that's the first guy in..
