I have a child of a family, who was given the middle name Heppard, which makes me think a grandmother or greatgrandmother was a Heppard. This family is: Joseph Osgood and his wife Sarah Brown, both born 1808, apparently Quakers (the obit of Annie says her family were longtime farmers in NJ and a Quaker family. One of their daughters was Hannah Ann (Annie) Heppard Osgood, born in 1840 and died in 1937. She never married but helped raise her great grand-neice and nephew (grandchildren of her sister) when the children's mother died. She was a dressmaker in Woodbury in the 1870s, and is buried in Eglington Cemetery in Clarksboro with her parents. Would love to find out about any Heppard family in the area, in hopes I can make a connection; and I'm happy to share what I have on the Osgood family. Ginny [email protected]
