Debbie, It did seem that a lot of early Burlington Co. folks migrated to the southern counties. There was a very early wagon road that ran from Burlington down to Cumb. Co. and they also used the proximity of the Delaware River to use various ferry systems to move around. Anyone out there with some solid answers? Was there much movement and marriages between families of Burlington and Cumberland Counties from about 1760 to 1800? Or did families tend to stick real close to home?
