I had recently contacted a Padgettt Funeral Home in Bridgeton, NJ - formerly Carll & Padgett Funeral Home because many of my MINGIN ancestors had their burials done through this home. They sent me free of charge 10 Mingin funeral documents and I am willing to copy and send them to anyone who is interested in them. 1. Clarence MINGIN (my father) - dates: 6/24/1942 to 3/31/1985 - parents: Clarence MINGIN and Pearl Marie SMITH. 2. Sadie F. MINGIN - widow of Howard W. MINGIN (unsure of a connection to my line) - dates: 11/29/1892 to 5/21/1975 - parents: John L. FROMBES and Rachel NORCROSS 3. Pearl Marie MINGIN - w/o Clarence MINGIN (he is still living), (my grandmother); mother of NO. 1: dates 8/4/1920 to 12/10/1976 - parents: Hubert Franklin SMITH of Page County, VA and Maude Irene RYAN of Rockingham, VA. Hubert is the s/o Charles Henry SMITH and Ida Florence GRIMSLEY of Page County, VA. 4. Leona B. MINGIN - widow of Irving MINGIN (my great great aunt and uncle) - dates: 1/7/1901 to 4/14/1977 - parents: Enoch HARBERT and Tamzen HAMPTON. 5. Albert MINGIN - h/o Ethel DAVIS (my great great aunt and uncle) - dates: 5/21/1896 to 3/23/1964 - parents: William MINGIN and Emma LONG. 6. Elva Newton MINGIN - widow of Clarence MINGIN (unsure of a connection to my line); everything was paid for by a John J. NEWTON, Jr., I believe this is a child from a previous marriage - dates: 10/17/1895 to 12/6/1977 - parents: Christian OTTO and Anna VANDEVENTER. 7. Loren MINGIN - divorced - dates (my great great uncle): 12/13/1899 to 6/20/1972 - parents: William MINGIN and Emma LONG. 8. William MINGIN - h/o Ruby LAUBAM (difficult to read) - dates: 7/23/1926 to 11/6/1964 - parents: Merrill MINGIN and Pearl LAFER (difficult to read). 9. Clarence MINGIN - h/o Ruby BENNETT (my great grandparents) - dates: 1/1/1892 to 2/24/1966 - parents: William MINGIN and Emma LONG. 10. Ruby MINGIN - w/o No. 9 - dates: 2/5/1899 to 4/12/1795 - parents: Henry BENNETT and Ruhamah KELLER. These documents contain a ton of information from the amount to the funeral (itemized) parents and spouses names (including maiden), physicians, cause of death and cemeteries. Please let me know off list if you would like a copy and please specify which one you desire, also, I need your snail mail address as I can not get my scanner to read any text. Once again, these are completely FREE OF CHARGE, that's the way I got them, it's the way I'm offering them.
