Hi Everyone - I just thought I would pass along this information because of the kindness of so many of you with her name! I knew from census records that she was born in Ohio in 1874, a couple of kind souls did an nationwide LDS search for her in 1880 and came back with only one possible using her first name and soundex, it gave her parents as Henry and Margaret A. Smith KELLER, everything else fit in that census right down to her parents places of birth and hers and her age in 1880! So, last night, I was playing with her first name at the LDS site and found this:Rahama_ KELLER Sex: M Event(s): Birth: 18 Oct 1874 Belmont, Ohio Parents: Father: Henry KELLER Mother: Margaret A. SMITH Though the sex is male and the month is different from what the census had said in 1900, when she was married, the parents match the 1880 census, and according to that same census, all the other children born had "normal" names, hee hee. So, I finally, after years of never using it, took advantage of the free look ups through ancestralfindings and will know in about a week, hopefully, the correct spelling and birth month, then I can send for the ceritificate! I did tell them I only knew for sure that it was Ohio in 1874 and her parents names, that the 18 OCT and Belmont are not positive, and yes, I did specify that she was female! Anyway, the more I look at the marriage certificate, which is the original from 1896 by the way, it looks more like Ruhamah KELLER. That's all, I just wanted to pass this along to everyone as a group because there were so many of you who aided in this that to send thank you's individually would have taken quite some time and I've got some Halloween costumes to finish by Tuesday night! Thank you all again for being so kind and helpful, I shall post again when and if I get some confirmation on what the true spelling of her name really was! Take care and God Bless - Deb California _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp
