    1. [NJGLOUCE] I am confused!
    2. A kind soul looked up the 1900 US Census for Gloucester County, NJ and found what I'm 99% sure are are my paternal great grandfather, William Stewart, and my great-uncles and aunts, but my maternal grandfather, James Hunter Stewart, who was born on November 24, 1899 is not listed. Now, this census was supposed to list all people in the household as of June 1, 1900. My great-grandfather was a widower at the time, my great-grandmother having died on January 29, 1900, two months after my grandfather was born. Would there be any reason why my grandfather, who would be 7 months old at the time, would not be listed? Terry C NJ

    3. Have you considered that, due to his young age, perhaps he was sent to live with someone else for a while? His mother's sister perhaps, or some female relative who would be able to care for him at that tender age..... ----- Original Message ----- From: <TCall2000@aol.com> To: <NJGLOUCE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, April 03, 2002 1:06 PM Subject: [NJGLOUCE] I am confused!
