Hi Rich, there is a person posting a family tree on Ancestry who has the name of Alice's husband as Edward, not Edwin. http://awt.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=:2600220&id=I225 If that URL doesn't get you to it, try a search under Alice Boyd in New Jersey on Ancestry. 'Edwin' though, will bring up the tree too, as Edwin is listed as a son of Alice and Edward. It gives a marriage date, if I were you I'd get a copy of that marriage certificate. There could possibly be information on it to tie him to 'your' McElverys. The info in the tree gives son Edwin passing away in FL and in the SSDI there is an Edwin b.NJ 21 Mar 1915 d.1 Feb 1994 in FL.
