Can somebody on this list assist me with a lookup for the will of David DeCamp, dated 1813, March 29, and proved 1816, July 2. The reference I have states that it is recorded in Liber B of Wills, p. 200, at the Newark Probate Office. In it he mentions his wife, Prudence, son, David DeCamp, and grandson Elias, son of said David; and three daughters, viz., Mary, Sarah and Lucy. Unfortunately, this will does not appear to be preserved in the NJ Archives, so I can't get a copy from them. If you can get a copy, I'll be glad to reimburse you. Wilson DeCamp Vienna, VA

I am trying all kinds of angles to find my grandmother's last name... I am going on a very extreme long shot that my father's godmother arrived in the US in 1905... that she, her mom, and siblings went to Newark New Jersey to meet up with the head of the household... the address is 84 Ferry Street... is this by any chance near 277 Oliver Street? The Oliver Street address is that of St. Michael's Russian Greek Orthodox Church... the name I am looking for according to Ellis Island. Org is Pawel Ganetzky.... This is possibly the father of my dad's possible godmother... name on my dad's baptismal certificate says Kseniya Pavlovna Ganetskaya which could be translated as Akseniya and there is an Aksenia arriving 1905 going to her meet her father... Pavelovna translates into daughter of Pavel or Pawel or Paul... So, I am quite certain this might be her....
