Tina, Birth, Death, and Marriage records start in 1848 in the NJ State Archives in Trenton. I don't know where you live but it worth going there if it is possible. The folks there are very helpful and will steer you in the right direction for any of the vital statistics you may need that they have in their holdings. You can send for the information but it takes quite a while and you need some specific information.
