I'm trying to find the family of David & Julia Anderson. David was born abt. 1816 in New jersey. I don't know who his parents may have been or where in NJ he was born. (According to the census, his parents were also born in NJ.) David married Julia A. bef 1840. The couple had the following children, all born in NJ: James R. b. July 1840 William H. b. abt 1843 Elizabeth b. abt 1846 Josephin b. abt. 1848 Harriet "Hattie" b. abt 1849 Ada b. abt 1852 Frank b. abt 1854 Julia b. abt 1857 Walter Howard b. 16 July 1859. (This is my line) In 1850 the family lived in Harrison, Hudson Co, NJ. By the 1860 census, the family was in Newark (Ward 5), Essex Co., NJ and seems to have stayed there. David died sometime between 1870 & 1880. Julia was still alive in the 1880 census. Does this family look familiar to anyone? Thanks, Tina Hursh
