Hi, I hope someone can help me with my mystery of the Winn, Donnelly, Williams, and Dardis families. I am trying to find out more about Honora ("Nora") Winn (about 1827-about 1880) who was born in Ireland and lived in the Essex County area of New Jersey. She was first married (or had a relationship with) Michael Donnelly (about 1822-1850), and they had a son, Thomas John Donnelly, born in 1849, and christened at Saint John Roman Catholic Church in Newark, NJ. After Michael's death, Thomas went to live with John and Mary Dardis in Madison County, NY. On August 16, 1852 at Saint John Roman Catholic Church in Newark, NJ, Nora married Elisha Williams (about 1820-before 1880) in New Jersey, and they had a son, Terrance Williams, born in 1854. My husband is a descendent of Thomas John Donnelly. I would like to know more about this family and especially more about Nora Winn. Her son Thomas was told his mother disappeared. Does anyone know more about Nora Winn, Michael Donnelly, or Elisha Williams? Were Nora and Thomas married, and if so, where and when? Does anyone have photos of any of them? Does anyone know where any of them are buried? Where in Ireland did Nora come from? Where in Ireland did Michael come from? Any information or ideas would be greatly appreciated. I have more information and other photos on my family genealogy page at: http://www.familytreemaker.com/users/d/o/n/Sharlotte--N-Donnelly. I can be reached at [email protected] Thanks, Sharlotte Donnelly
