My great grandparents, John and Margaret MORROW came from Ireland to New York and then to Jersey City, New Jersey. They both were born about 1781 in Ireland. They both died in Jersey City, New Jersey in 1858 Their first child was John MORROW born in NYC 1809 who married Sarah L.-----. He died in Orange, New Jersey 1880 Their son John MORROW was born 1833 in New York City. He married Isabella CHRISTIE in 1858 New York City. They both died in Orange, New Jersey. John served in the Union Army during the Civil War and Isabella lived at 39 Christopher St. in NYC. After the war they moved to Orange, NJ They had one son, William Henry MORROW born 1861 NYC who married Harriett Foster BADGLEY in 1885 He died in 1949 in California and she died in 1951 in Los Angeles, California William and Harriett are my grandparents and I was born May, 1928 San Diego, California joey@cvc.net
