My grandfather James J. Hesson lived on 144 SValley Rd in West Orange NJ. My grandmother Winifred died of cancer in 1929. She died at her sister's house (Claire Boyle Jehle). My uncle Georgie committed suicide in 1935 because according to a cousin he got in with the Irish mafia and was caught and put in jail where he committed suicide. John Hesson who was married to Viola Ekborn at the time took in William who was 15. John's own children were John R, WilliamV and Eileen Grace Hesson. John in 1930 lived at 842 19th St in Newark. He was in WWI and marched in Newark when he returned.My grandmother's sister Mary Ellen Underwood also lived in Newark at 120 Harrison St in 1930. They were all Catholic. I have not been able to locate William V, John R or Eileen. My father said at one time that there was something about Georgie Hesson in the newspaper but the Newark Public library seemed to have nothing. If anyone has any ideas on how I can get more information about my ancestors, let me know. Winnie
