Hi everyone. Still looking for the following ancestor ... Giovanni (John ) LUSARDI I believe my great grandfather Giovanni (John) LUSARDI was born in Spora, Parma, Emilia-Romagna, Italy circa 1864 (have yet to prove either). He married Clotilde ZAZZALI who was born in Spora, Parma, Emilia-Romagna, Italy in June 05, 1869 and died September 10, 1954 in Queens, New York. The marriage took place in New York City on June 13, 1889 (best man was Luigi MOGLIA - maid/matron of honor was Theresa FUGASSI). They settled at 15 Comes Alley in Bloomfield, NJ and had 1 known child (my grandfather) Domenico (Dominick) (Nick) LUSARDI. Family lore has it that Giovanni died from a fall off of a ladder carrying bricks up to a mason. Having been to the NJ state archives and other local/city buildings I found no record of his death. And he probably died sometime between 1889 and 1892 because Clotilde married Gerado BRUNI on December of 1892, moved to, and married in Manhatten, NY and had 10 more children. The parents of Clotilde were Antonio ZAZZALI and Bridgia BRUS! CHI. The majority of Clotildes 9 siblings lived in the NYC area.
