I am interested in learning more about some of my dad's STEWART family: John M. STEWART (1836-1906) and his wife Mary Augusta FOSTER (1840-1903) lived in Kearny and East Newark, Hudson Co. They were my great great grandparents. They had two daughters, one of which was Serlena L STEWART (b. 1860) and husband August/Augustus H JACOBUS (1856-1907). They lived in Newark, Essex Co., NJ; however, Augustus is buried in Arlington Cemetery, Kearny, Hudson Co., NJ. I do not know when Serlena died nor where she is buried. They had some 11 children, namely: Nettie May Jacobus (b. 1875/76) Walter Jacobus, b. 1877 Julia Jacobus, b. 1882 May Jacobus, b. 1884 Irene V. Jacobus, b. 1886, married a HAYES ? Augustus Henry Jacobus, b. 1887; died March 1909 Bertha Jacobus, b. 1889 Raymond S. Jacobus, b. 1892; d. 1912 George Iliff Jacobus, b. 1894; died 1919; married Lillian Virginia Greiner Myrtle Jacobus, b. 1896 Hazel Jacobus, b. 1899.
