Maximum time devoted to a single letter with be 1 week 3. Minimum time will be 48-hours if there's not a lot of activity or response 4. Surnames should be all CAPS to stand out 5. If you have a long surname then keep the subject line short. Long subject lines will get cut-off by your email program. Reserve important details for the text in the body. 6. Body - be precise. List pertinent names, dates, events, questions in the body text. 7. Important: list dates/years if known. Your John Anderson born in 1900 will not be the same as someone elses John Anderson born in 1875. But without any dates noone will know. 8.
