Dave, I would definitely try again. FHCs are staffed by volunteers (mostly church members), and their knowledge and interest level can be quite variable. Volunteers donate at least several hours a week to the FHC, so you won't always find the same staff there every time the FHC is open. You should have no problem ordering microfilms from the FHL. After all, that's one of the main purposes of an FHC, to make the FHL records accessible! Good luck! ---Robin
