Hello, I am hoping that someone could help me! I am trying to find any information on Andrew HAMPTON and his wife Margaret CUMMIN. I found on the internet, that Andrew was a brother to John HAMPTON. Also, that Andrew left a will in 1738 in Elizabeth Town, county of Essex, Province of East New Jersey. he mentions his wife Margaret and children, John, Andrew, Margaret HAmpton, Johannah, Lambert, Elizabth Oliver, grandson Jonathan Hampton, son of James deceased, granson Issac Terrill, son of Mary deceased. Eldest son Thomas got only 20 shillings. There was suppose to be a house on Pearl Street in Elizabeth, New Jersey, built in 1696/97 by Andrew HAMPTON and his wife Margaret CUMMIN. Would anyone happen to know if this is true, or how I could go about finding out? Also, how can I obtain a copy of Andrews Will? Any information on the HAMPTONs and CUMMINs family would be very appreciated! Thank you all!! Sharon
