Have not posted in 5 or 6 months, have hit many brick walls, and since there have been so many new people added to the list I thought I'd give it another try. Looking for info on ancestors of a Lawrence Farrell born in Ireland about 1830 whose father was Michael Farrell born around 1799 and whose mother was either Catherine or Sarah. Lawrence is buried in NJ next to a Thomas Farrell born in 1822 or 1823 and I suppose this could be a brother since their father's names on the death certificate are the same. Lawrence married a Mary Selvy on Jan. 2, 1856 in St. Patrick's Cathedral in Newark, NJ. They had the following children: Michael, Mary, Thomas, Lawrence Jr., John, Joseph, James, Edward and William. Lawrence Jr. married a Sarah Johnson from Pennsylvania. Are there any Farrells out there that this sounds familiar to? Judy in NC
