I have a 1865 edition of Barber and Howe signed on the faceplate by Ira Gardner, my Great Grandfather....It's very difficult to look names up in because it is mainly concerned with population for each township....and FULL of Indian history of the area. I would be willing to give it a look if you have the township of your ancestors... I am still looking for Sara Jane Smith's ancestors. I did find her husband, Uriah Gardner, and his parents: Thomas and Abigail Allen. This search was halved because he married his 1st cousin, Nancy Allen !
