Hi, Does the Freedom of Information Act include adoption records that were sealed? A boy was adopted in the 1940s by a couple in NJ and the records were sealed. His siblings had been sent to different foster homes. They tried to locate him in the 60s and were told the records were sealed. They were told that if they were the natural parents they might have gotten some information, but as they were siblings they could get nothing. Has this changed? I know adoptions were discussed a while back but I was not aware of this family's history at that time. Thank you, Rita
