Hello to the list; Anyone having access to an 1880 or 1900 soundex for Essex County; could you look for an Anton MILLER (or MUELLER) in Newark. He was botrn 9 Jun 1849 in Germany. Cemetery plot lists him as Anthony Miller. He may have been using that name for the census. Wifes name was Henrietta (nee MEIER or MEYER), b. 12 Dec 1851 In 1880 he had four children; Jacob b. 30 Oct 1871 Magdalena b. 10 Apr 1873 George b. 10 Oct 1876 Margaret b. 3 Oct 1877 In 1900 he should have these additional children; John b. 4 Dec 1881 William b. 5 Dec 1883 Frances b. 6 Nov 1885 (or Franzeska) Louisa b. 11 Sep 1887 Henrietta b. 8 May 1889 I have never found him/them searching the full 1900 census and I would like a roll number if possible. I can get to the full census, but have no access to a soundex locally. Forgive me if there was no soundex for these years, I am only guessing. Thanks in advance for any information anyone can share.
