I received the microfilm for the subject above through the FHC - will be willing to do lookups if you think your ancestors might be included. These are just for those who declared in Newark. These are listed alphabetically and fairly easy to read - they will give you the date of intention and stated place of origin (sometimes it was a city, county, state or just country), but it's a start. This microfilm also is inclusive of 1849-1906, however it is not completely alphabetical. If you are fairly sure of the year your ancestor declared, I can also look this up. Just privately email me your ancestors name (first and last AND any alternate spellings) for the 1851-1860 lists. For the other list indexes I would need the name and the approximate year of declaration. I will do the best I can - if I don't come across your names, please don't assume they are not there. I discovered that many were misdated and some added at the end of the indexes out of order. REMEMBER - this is just an index. For my GGUncle it gave me the page from the book for his actual document, however, my GGGrandfather's only contained the information itself, not the document number or the document.
