Well, today was my last day to view the Intents, and got through a few more pages - to those I was able to find I e-mailed you privately - to those others, I am sorry but I had minor surgery on Friday and couldn't stay very long at the library. Don't be disheartened - like I said there are pages and pages - and thousands of names - I may have missed yours. In addition, remember, you could declare your intention in ANY court - even right off the boat you came on. Dave's information was VERY informative, but alas, for those of you whose ancestors came earlier as mine did, the clerk in Essex Co at the time of around 1851-1860 was a JR Weeks and he did not record very much information at all as I can attest to having either the originals or copy in my possession.
