Hello ECR's, It's been quite an interesting week for me. First I had a computer problem that kept me off-line from last Sunday evening to Tuesday evening. Since then I've been rebuilding my database on my new hard drive. Next came a few new programs that I have to learn and finally my request for web space on the Rootsweb servers came through. Now you're saying what has that got to do with genealogy?? Here is what is going to be happening. Virtual Newark will be moving to a new location, (Rootsweb), in about 6 to 8 weeks. During that time I will be learning the new programs and constructing the new site. The old site will remain just where it is during all this. I will not be adding anything new to it. What I need from you, is feedback for the construction of the new site. I'd like to know any comments on the old site including: Was it easy to navigate? Is there any way to make it easier? Is a textured background or a solid color easier to read? Was the site confusing? If so, how would you change it? Are there any additions you would like to see? (Please remember I'm only one person). And anything else that you can think of. PLEASE send all comments, criticisms, etc. to me via my personal email address and not to the mailing list. Also, during this time I will be slower (g) at answering your emails but please keep your questions coming. I'll try to help as best I can.
