Greetings Essex co listers Had two more returns for NJ Vital Stats: One was a good one = only problem was that while all the info matched my gt grand father there was no name! Must have been a situation where his parents didn't know what to call their newborn son !!! Real problem with the other and someone in a past message had some ideas. My gd mother's birth record for 1881-1883 apparently doesn't exist!! I know from hetr marriage (and other) license that it had to be in that time period and in the Jersec City area. What does one do now!!! Her marriage license says she was born in Jersey City. Any suggestions from those of you know the NJ scene? Thanks for any suggestions you might have.
