Friends, Two questions I would appreciate any comments on. One set of my ancestors, TOMKINS, were long time residents of Livingston in Essex County. I believe a history of Livingston was published a number of years back, but I haven't been able to track it down further. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Another set of my ancestors, SWACKHAMMER, were part of the early palatinate Germans in New Jersey; they later moved to New York state.
