I have been trying to find my Baldwin ancestor. I was told that "there was a line of Baldwins who lived in the New Jersey area." My Baldwins were in the Newark, NJ area. I have a Baldwin marrying a Woodruff. Their daughter, Elizabeth Woodruff married Zebedee Phraner. He led the choir in the Presbyterian Church for many years. Zebedee and Elizabeth had a daughter named Mary Baldwin Phraner. She was born in 1818 in Newark, NJ. Do any of these names seem familiar to anyone.
