FYI A notice was posted in the Summer, 1999 New York Genealogical and Biographical Society Newsletter: A proposal by Rosemary Ardolina to members of the Irish Family History Forum, was published in the May/June IFHF newsletter. The goal is to index the registers of all Roman Catholic parishes in the New York City area so that genealogists will be able to obtain information. Many volunteers are needed, both on-site and via home computers. For further information contact Rosemary Ardolina at, email: RoArd29@aol.com I contacted Rosemary (best time to reach her is between 11PM-1AM) to offer my services from my home computer. The immediate need would be for someone to make photocopies of the actual registers which entails physically visiting the rectory after making arrangements with the pastor. If you are able and willing to take part in this extremely important project, please contact Rosemary at RoArd29@aol.com Sincerely, Janet White
