Happy Familying Laura Irby in VA << Woodbridge used to be a part of the larger area Elizabethtown, and was part of Essex Co before Middlesex Co was formed. Rahway is just north of Woodbridge and south of the present Elizabeth. I have seen wills identifying a person as living in "Rahway Ward, Elizabethtown, Essex Co." There is an old cemetery in Rahway dating from 1727. There is also an old cemetery at the First Presbyterian Church of Woodbridge. Judy >>
